NCCCO Presents: Third Annual Industry Forum on Personnel Qualifications

Industry-forum-1+2Fairfax, VA, August 15, 2018—With OSHA’s November crane operator certification deadline looming, there’s never been a better time to discuss the certification, evaluation, and qualification of crane operators. And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing at NCCCO’s Third Annual Industry Forum on Personnel Qualifications.

Scheduled to coincide with NCCCO’s Commissioners Fall Meetings Week, this year’s Forum will once again bring together crane industry experts to discuss the latest topics and trends related to crane and rigging personnel qualifications.

In addition to reviewing the status of state and federal (OSHA) standards and regulations, we’ll be addressing a host of relevant issues, including:

  • How to Maintain Program Integrity through a Robust Ethics and Auditing System
  • What a Deep Dive into Testing Data Reveals about Candidates
  • Tackling the “Most Similar” Dilemma: CTAG Gets Down to Work
  • Interpreting OSHA’s Interpretations;
  • What’s Next on the Certification Horizon?

The Forum will conclude with a special Panel Discussion featuring a wide-ranging debate on subjects as diverse as:

  • Does Virtual Reality Have a Role in High-Stakes Certification?
  • When Do Testing Accommodations UNlevel the Playing Field?
  • The Worrying Trend among States to Discard Certification
  • Can We Prevent “Bad Actor” Certification Shopping
  • And much more...

Come with your questions to challenge the panel of experts!
